Appointment of Sharon Brown to the Board

The Board of Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sharon Brown as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Ms Brown is a Director and Audit Committee Chairman of Fidelity Special Values plc, BMO Capital & Income Investment Trust plc, McColl's Retail Group plc and Celtic plc.

As at the date of her appointment, Ms Brown was the owner of 2,354 shares in the Company.
