The Holdings In Company announcement released 2 July 2003  at 16:36 under RNS No
0915N, should have been issued under the Company name of Jupiter European
Opportunities Trust PLC  and not under the Company name of  Jupiter Enhanced
Income Investment Trust PLC, as previously stated. The full amended announcement
is reproduced below.


Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (" The Company") received notification
today from Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited that it had purchased
500,000 Ordinary Income Shares in the Company on 2nd July 2003. As a result of
the aforementioned purchase Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited now holds
4,108,247 (5.23%) of the Ordinary Income Shares in issue.  The shares were
registered in the name of HSBC a/c 37646623.
