Pre-Close Trading Update
Everyman today announces a trading update for the twelve months to 31 December 2014.
Trading for the twelve months to 31 December 2014 has been in line with market expectations. The Company operated ten sites during 2014 and instigated a number of initiatives to promote the Everyman brand, including pop up venues in Battersea Power Station and Selfridges (which remains open until April 2015).
The Company expects to open two new sites during the first half of 2015 at the Mailbox in Birmingham and Canary Wharf in London, both with three screens. The Company has also exchanged contracts on sites in Bristol (3 screens), Harrogate (4 screens) and Cirencester (4 screens) all of which should open over the course of the next 18 months. In addition, it is at various stages of negotiation on a number of other sites as the roll out of the Everyman brand continues to accelerate.
Looking ahead, the Directors believe the film line up for 2015 looks strong and, on top of continued development and growth in F&B, remain confident in the outlook for the Company.
