    DISPOSAL UNDER LOCK-UP ARRANGEMENTS AND NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF
 DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

888 Holdings plc ('888') announces that HSBC Bank plc ('HSBC') has agreed to
disposals under exemptions allowed in the respective lock-up arrangements put in
place upon 888's admission to the Official List of the FSA and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange between, amongst others, HSBC, and the following
individuals (the 'Transferors') in respect of the transfer by the Transferors of
certain shares in 888 as set out in the information provided below.

The respective lock-up arrangements to which the Transferors are subject in
respect of their respective shareholdings shall continue as described in the
prospectus published by 888 on 15 September 2005 and, accordingly, shall expire
on the date of publication of the interim report and accounts for 888 for the
six month period ending 30 June 2006.
