On 15 July 2009, the Company received notification of transactions in its ordinary shares of 10 US cents each ('ordinary shares') by certain directors of the Company.
Following the vesting/exercise of share awards ordinary shares were sold as set out below on the London Stock Exchange on 15 July 2009.

1. The number of shares shown above includes ordinary shares awarded under the GUS/Experian North America Co-investment Plan
and Experian Reinvestment Plan in lieu of annual bonus. Each has an unconditional right to receive Experian shares at the end of
the relevant three year deferral period. Prior to receipt they do not have dividend or voting rights in respect of such shares.
The notifications to the Company were made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.2R. This notification is made in compliance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R.

Experian's remuneration philosophy is that reward should be used to drive business performance. Share-based long-term incentives are a critical component of the executive remuneration packages and executives are encouraged to retain major commitments to equity.

Share awards vesting in June 2009 had been subject to a minimum holding period of 3 years by the executives concerned.

Executive directors retain holdings well in excess of the minimum threshold under the guidelines established by the Company's Remuneration Committee. The value of Don Robert's total retained interests is $5m at a share price of 448p.

All executive directors have additional interests in Experian shares under the Company's long term incentive plans, which are conditional on performance.
