24 March 2021 - Experian plc, the global information services company, announces the appointment of a new independent Non-Executive Director to its Board, effective from 1 May 2021.
Jonathan Howell, 58, a UK national, is the Chief Financial Officer of The Sage Group plc., the FTSE 100 global market leader for technology that provides small and medium businesses with the visibility, flexibility and efficiency to manage finance, operations and people. Jonathan has extensive experience in change and modernisation, most recently as part of the management team transforming Sage from a software business into a cloud, data and artificial intelligence business.
Prior to appointment to his current role in November 2018, Jonathan had previously been an independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of The Sage Group plc. for five years while serving as Group Finance Director of Close Brothers Group plc for 10 years until November 2018. Before that he was Group Finance Director at the London Stock Exchange Group plc for nine years and has also been a non-executive director of EMAP plc and Chairman of FTSE International. The early part of Jonathan's career was at Price Waterhouse where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

The Company confirms that, save for his directorships of The Sage Group plc. and Close Brothers Group plc, there are no details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13R, paragraphs (1) to (6) in respect of the appointment of Jonathan Howell.
