                      Sale of Loyalty Solutions in Germany


Experian, the global information solutions company, announces that it has agreed
the sale of Loyalty Solutions to easycash, a leading German point-of-sale
network provider. The sale is conditional upon certain clearances, which are
expected to be satisfied in the next few months.

Loyalty Solutions' core activity is the provision of back office services to
loyalty card programmes, principally for retail clients in Germany. In the year
to 31 March 2007 it generated sales of €13m, with gross assets at 31 March 2007
of €7m.

Germany continues to be a major strategic market for Experian and expansion will
continue across the core activities.
