Transaction in own Shares
7 June 2021 - Experian plc, the global information services company (the "Company"), hereby announces that, on 7 June 2021, an aggregate of 546,914 ordinary shares of 10 US cents each in the Company ("ordinary shares") were transferred from treasury to Computershare Investor Services plc and Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited, the administrator and trustee respectively of Experian's share plans, for nil consideration, to be used to meet obligations under employee share plans.
The Company's capital consists of 969,622,534 ordinary shares with voting rights and 20 deferred shares of 10 US cents each which have no voting rights. Following the above transfer, Experian plc holds 45,831,099 shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Experian plc is 923,791,435.
The figure of 923,791,435 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules sourcebook.
