fastjet Passenger Statistics for March 2013

Commenting on the March statistics CEO Ed Winter said: "fastjet Tanzania achieved a 68% Load factor for the month despite the start of the rainy season and adding capacity on additional routes from the middle of the month. 

"fastjet's excellent levels of punctuality and reliability continued throughout March, with 99.2% of flights arriving within 15mins of schedule, an average delay of just 6 minutes, and no cancellations."

Fastjet published the results of its first Customer Service Survey yesterday with an incredible 100% of customers saying that they would recommend us to a friend.  The full results can be viewed on www.fastjet.com/tz/blog/customer-satisfaction-survey-results.

Notes:

1.    "All Operations" includes statistics for fastjet Tanzania, Fly540 Kenya, Fly 540 Ghana and Fly540 Angola.  Historical numbers have been updated where estimated numbers were previously included. 

2.    "Passengers" for 540 operationsare flown passengers and for fastjet operations are sold seats flown, in both cases excluding infants.  fastjet bookings are generally non refundable whereas 540 bookings are in some circumstances refundable.

3.    "Load Factor" is the number of 'passengers" as a percentage of the number of available seats flown. 

4.    "fastjet Operations" includes only statistics for Fastjet Tanzania operations which commenced on 29^th November 2012.
