FBD Holdings has to-day applied to the Stock Exchange in Dublin and to the UK
Listing Authority in London for permission for 99,000 €0.60 ordinary shares to
be dealt in on the Official List in Dublin and London.  The shares have been
allotted due to the exercising of share options by the Executives named
hereunder.  Following the latest application, the total number of €0.60 ordinary
shares in issue will be 41,054,855
