Date for Half Year Results

TO COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS OFFICE

I wish to confirm that a Board Meeting of this Company has been fixed for
Tuesday, 29th August 2000 at which the results of this Company for the half
year ended 30th June 2000 will be approved.  An Interim Dividend is expected
to be determined and a payment date decided on.

It is intended to release the results to the Stock Exchange and the Public on
Wednesday the 30th August 2000.
