Notification pursuant to Sections 67 to 79 of the Companies Act, 1990
FBD Holdings plc ('FBD') was notified on 23rd April 2002 that City Investment
Advisors Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Farmer Business Developments plc,
disposed of 700,000 ordinary shares in the capital of FBD on 18th April 2002.
This disposal represented 1.67 per cent of the issued share capital of FBD.
Following the disposal, Farmer Business Developments plc held ordinary shares in
the capital of FBD representing 39.6 per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company. A breakdown of that interest between registered holders as required by
section 71(3) of the Act is as follows:
