Agreement with BT Group plc

First Derivatives PLC 13 March 2003 Embargo for 0700 HRS on 13 March 2003 First Derivatives plc ('Company' of 'First Derivatives') Agreement with BT Group plc First Derivatives plc announces that yesterday it signed a joint venture agreement with BT Group plc ('BT'). Under this agreement BT, under the BT eBusiness Manager brand name, will market a suite of hosted applications to small and medium sized businesses under its broad-band initiative throughout the UK. This suite will consist of the software applications recently acquired from E-hub.com plc together with others developed by the Company.
