BEARER DEPOSITARY RECEIPTS
On 14 October 1999, the Ford Motor Company (U.S.) declared a DIVIDEND of $0.50
(gross) per share on the common stock of the Company, and there will accordingly
become due in respect of the Bearer Depositary Receipts a gross distribution of
US$0.025 per unit (less U.S. Withholding Tax). The Depositary, National
Westminster Bank PLC, will, by public advertisement, give notice of the sterling
equivalent of the distribution per unit payable on or after 15 December 1999 to
holders of record 1 November 1999.
