Ford Motor Company Bearer Depositary Receipts

On 13 January 2000, the Ford Motor Company (U.S.) declared a DIVIDEND of $0.50
(gross) per share on the common stock of the Company, and there will accordingly
become due in respect of the Bearer Depositary Receipts a gross distribution of
US$0.025 per unit (less U.S. Withholding Tax).  The Depositary, National
Westminster Bank PLC, will, by public advertisement, give notice of the sterling
equivalent of the distribution per unit payable on or after 15 March 2000 to
holders of record 1 February 2000.
