Wolseley plc

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing of 150,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List.

These shares will be issued under the Wolseley Employees Savings Related Option Scheme 1981 (100,000 shares) and the Wolseley Employee Share Purchase Plan 2001, including the schedules relating to the Wolseley European Sharesave Plan 2001 (50,000 shares). The shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of Wolseley plc.
