Wolseley plc Michael Wareing to step down as a Non Executive Director

The Board of Wolseley plc is announcing today that Michael Wareing will be standing down at the next Annual General Meeting as a Non Executive Director of Wolseley plc after more than five years' service on the Board.  Accordingly, with effect from 25 November 2014 he will also step down as Chairman of the Audit Committee, a position he has held since his appointment to the Board in 2009.

In November, Michael will be succeeded as Chairman of the Audit Committee by Darren Shapland, who joined the Board in May.
