In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Wolseley plc (the 'Company') announces that Andrew J Duff, a Non Executive Director of the Company, has been appointed as a Non Executive Director of Severn Trent Plc and Severn Trent Water Ltd with immediate effect.  He will become Chairman of both companies on 21 July 2010.
