Appointment of Acting Chief Financial Officer

Following an announcement on 28 October 2019, stating that the Board of Ferrexpo had appointed Mr Chris Mawe as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Group, while Mr Kostyantin Zhevago stepped aside temporarily to focus on resolving certain matters in Ukraine, the Board today announces that it has appointed Mr. Roman Palyvoda as Acting Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Mr Palyvoda, a Ukrainian national, joined Ferrexpo in September 2008 as the Group Management Accountant. Previously, Mr Palyvoda worked at Renault Group for over 5 years, latterly as the Financial Controller for Russia, Ukraine and the CIS. Mr Palyvoda studied International Relations with honours in Finance at the National University of Lviv and Business Management at Institut d'Etudes politiques de Paris.

Chris Mawe, acting Chief Executive Officer said "I'm delighted Roman has agreed to take on this role which is a natural fit given his extensive financial experience within the Group and his role in the finance team. I look forward to continuing to work closely with him."

Given the temporary nature of Mr Palyvoda's appointment, Mr Palyvoda will not join the Ferrexpo plc Board of Directors.
