·     Production of higher grade 65% Fe pellets, from own ore, increased 1.7% in 1Q 2012 compared to 4Q 2011

·     Pellet production from own ore in 1Q 2012 was 6.3% higher than 1Q 2011

·     Production of pellets from third party concentrate is dependent on availability in local markets

·     Total pellet production in 1Q 2012 was 0.5% higher than 1Q 2011
