Genesis Emerging Markets Fund Limited (the 'Company')

Final dividend - exchange rate

Further to the announcement on 13^th November 2018 in respect of shareholder approval for the payment of a final dividend for the year ended 30^th June 2018, the sterling equivalent of the declared dividend of 19.0 US cents will be 14.7561 pence per Participating Preference Share, based on an exchange rate of £1 = US$1.28760.

The dividend will be paid on 21^st December 2018.
