                                Board Appointment



The Board of Fish Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael
Rosen as a Non Executive Director, with immediate effect.



Mr. Rosen, aged 59, is a leading operator in the retail sector with over 30
years' experience in retailing and brand marketing.  He was previously Trading
Director of Safeway Stores plc from 1994 - 1999, where he was Director of
International Trading (June - December 1998) and Director of UK Trading (Non
Foods) from 1994 -1998.



Prior to this, he was Director of Non Foods and a Non Executive Director of
Homebase for J. Sainsbury plc from 1982 to 1994;  and Director of Non Foods and
Director of Home and Wear from Tesco Stores plc from 1979 to 1982.



He was previously Marketing Manager (Northern Europe) for Corning Glass Ltd.
(1974-9);  Market Manager of American Optical (Europe) Ltd (1969 - 1974);  and
Sales and Product Manager for Rank Hovis McDougall Ltd (1964 - 9).



At industry level, he has been a Member of the Advisory Board of the
GlaxoSmithKline Academy since 1996.



Michael is a Non Executive Director of Lifestyle plc and M.I.I.L Ltd.
