Filtronic plc notifies that it has mailed to shareholders its annual report and
financial statements for the year ended 31 May 2007; together with the Notice of
Annual General Meeting to be held on 21 September 2007 at Wheatwood Hall Hotel,
Otley Road, Far Headingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS16 5PS.

A copy of the annual report, the Notice of the Annual General Meeting and the
Form of Proxy have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly
be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing
