Filtronic plc ('the Company') announces the resignation of Dr. Christopher Mobbs
from the Board of Directors. Dr. Mobbs leaves the Company by mutual agreement
with effect from today's date. He continues to be available to provide technical
support to the Company.



The Board of Filtronic plc expresses sincere thanks to Chris for his valuable
contributions to the Company and wishes him well in the future.
