The Company was notified on 18 April 2001 that on that date Dr Christopher Ian
Mobbs exercised options in respect of 122,300 ordinary shares in the Company
at an option exercise price of 30p per share. Following the option exercise Dr
Mobbs' total beneficial holding is 279,367 shares.
