Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons

The Company was notified today that on the 10th May 2000 John Samuel a Director
of the Company was allotted 60,000 ordinary shares of 10p each as a result of an
exercise of options held by him under the Filtronic Comtek (UK) Limited Initial
Share Option Scheme.

His resultant total Holding in the ordinary share capital of the Company is now
427,209 shares representing 0.6%.
