   Completion of the sale of its Compound Semiconductor business to RF Micro
                                    Devices



Filtronic plc ('Filtronic') announces that it has completed the disposal of all
of the share capital of Filtronic Compound Semiconductors Limited ('FCSL') to RF
Micro Devices ('RFMD') for approximately £12.5m cash.



Details of the transaction are contained in the Company's announcement of 20th
December 2007.
