                           Notice of Interim Results


Filtronic plc, a leading global designer and manufacturer of customised
microwave electronic subsystems for the wireless telecommunications industries
and defence industries, will announce its interim results for the six months
ended 30 November 2004 on Monday 31 January 2005.

A briefing for analysts will be held on that morning at 9.15am at the London
