DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION SCHEME
Filtronic plc ('Filtronic') announces that it has reached agreement with the
trustees of its defined benefit pension scheme to cease contributions from 29
February 2008 and fully fund past service liabilities with annuities to that
date. This will require the company to contribute approximately £25m cash to
the scheme. It is intended that the scheme will then be wound up.
