Special Dividend
Filtronic plc announces that, following the completion of the capital reduction
approved by shareholders on 28 March 2008, it will pay a special dividend of
120p per share on Friday 30 May 2008, to those shareholders on the register on
23 May 2008. The ex-dividend date will be 21 May 2008.
This special dividend, which will be paid by way of an interim dividend, will
amount to approximately £89.2 million, based on the issued share capital of
74,323,093 ordinary shares as at 6 May 2008. In connection with this special
dividend, interim accounts for Filtronic plc (for the period 1 June 2007 to 22
April 2008) have been approved by the Board and were filed at Companies House,
on 2 May 2008, as required by the Companies Act 2006.
