The Board of Finsbury Growth & Income Trust plc announces that, following
discussions with certain of its major shareholders, it is considering proposals
for a secondary issue of ordinary shares to both existing and new investors.
The approval of existing shareholders will be required for the proposals, which
as envisaged will not dilute existing shareholders' interests.
