STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT
FINSBURY GROWTH TRUST PLC
REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES
The Board of Finsbury Growth Trust PLC announces that on 27 October 2000 the
Company repurchased for cancellation 375,000 of the Company's ordinary shares
of 25p, representing 0.95% of the issued ordinary share capital, at a price of
201.0p per share.
To date the Company has repurchased a total of 7,093,570 ordinary shares,
representing 15.4% of the original issued ordinary share capital. There are
38,906,430 ordinary shares remaining in issue.
