FINSBURY GROWTH & INCOME TRUST PLC
SPECIAL DIVIDEND
The Company has declared a special dividend of 2.3p per Ordinary share. This
special dividend has been declared following receipt by the Company of a special
dividend from The London Stock Exchange plc of an equal amount.
Such dividend will become payable on 2 August 2006 to holders on the register as
at 14 July 2006. The shares will go ex-dividend on 12 July 2006.
