Director's Shareholding

The Company received notification on 13 December 2000 that on that day Mr.
Alasdair Locke, Non-Executive Chairman, acquired 150,000 ordinary shares at a
price of 16p per share.

Following this acquisition, Mr Locke is beneficially interested in 5,665,740
ordinary shares, representing 13.40 per cent. of the Company's issued share
capital.
