The Hansom Group PLC ('the Company')

On 27 December 2000 the Company received notification that, following the
Company's issued share capital increasing to 84,979,716 ordinary shares of 1p
each, Edinburgh Fund Managers Group PLC ('EFM Group') no longer holds a
notifiable interest in the share capital of the Company.  Edinburgh Small
Companies Trust plc, a client of EFM Group, continues to hold 4,805,000
ordinary shares in the Company, representing 5.65 per cent. of the Company's
enlarged issued share capital.
