The Hansom Group PLC ('the Company')

On 1 December 2000 the Company received notification from Edinburgh Fund
Managers plc that Edinburgh Small Companies Trust plc has a beneficial
interest in 4,280,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 10.12 per
cent. of the Company's issued share capital.  This entire holding is
registered in the name of RBSTB Nominees Ltd.
