RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Fletcher King plc (the 'Company') announces that Harry Richardson, a non-executive director of the Company, will retire with effect from today.

David Fletcher, Chairman of the Company, commented: "Harry joined the board in 1993 and since then has provided us with excellent guidance and counsel.  On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Harry for his valuable contribution to the Company during his tenure and wish him well for the future."
