Flomerics Group plc (the 'Company') has been informed by a letter dated 12
February 2002 from Friends Ivory & Sime plc that following a purchase of 50,000
ordinary shares of 1p each on 8 February 2002, Friends Ivory & Sime plc is now
interested in 2,372,500 ordinary shares representing 16.20% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
Such interest includes the material interests of the clients of Friends Ivory &
Sime plc referred to below:
