Flomerics Plc (the 'Company')

Notification of Interest

The Company was informed by a letter dated 21 August 2000
from  Friends Ivory & Sime Plc that following a  purchase
of  10,000 ordinary shares of 1p each on 21 August  2000,
Friends  Ivory  & Sime Plc is now interested  in  416,000
ordinary  shares representing 14.20% of the issued  share
capital of the Company.

Such  interest  includes the material  interests  of  the
clients of Friends Ivory & Sime Plc referred to below:
