                              Board Appointments





Mr. Ross Ivers who joined Power Leisure plc as Finance Director designate on
23rd July 2001 has joined the Board of Power Leisure plc as Finance Director
effective from 4th September 2001.



Mr. Ivers qualified as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin. He
has worked in Hong Kong and Dublin for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jardine
Matheson plc, and Astec BSR where he held senior financial positions.  Mr.
Ivers was a Director of Viapay Limited a London based company traded on the US
OTC market.  Mr. Ivers was a Director of Viapay Technologies Limited, an
e-commerce payments company which is a UK subsidiary of Viapay Limited.
Viapay Technologies Limited was put into voluntary liquidation by members and
creditors on 16th July 2001.



Mr. Ivers was granted options over 332,466 ordinary shares exercisable at a
price of Euro3.59 per share, on 1st August 2001.  Subject to the attainment of
the performance criteria in the Scheme, the options can be exercised from 1st
August 2004.



As previously announced, Mr. Peter O'Grady Walshe will resume his position as
a Non-Executive Director of Power Leisure plc.
