The Trustees of the Paddy Power plc Employee Benefit Trust, purchased 38,818 and
26,182 Ordinary Shares of euro 0.10 each in Paddy Power plc at euro 13.01 and
euro 13.45 per Ordinary Share on 26 June 2006 and 27 June 2006 respectively.







The Trust was established by Paddy Power plc to implement the terms of the Paddy
Power plc 2004 Long Term Incentive Plan approved by shareholders at the Annual
General Meeting on 22 June 2004.
