PADDY POWER APPOINTS MARKETING DIRECTOR
31 August 2011 - Paddy Power plc is delighted to announce that Christian Woolfenden has been appointed Marketing Director for Paddy Power. Christian will be joining the Company at the start of December 2011 from Bacardi, where he is currently Global Brand Director for the Bacardi Brand.
Christian is 33 years of age, has over 10 years international marketing experience in world leading FMCG companies. Before joining Bacardi in 2008, he worked for eight years at Procter & Gamble in Switzerland and London.
Christian's appointment follows the move by Barni Evans, Paddy Power's former Marketing Director, to Australia to head up the marketing for Paddy Power's Australian divisions, Sportsbet and IASbet.
