Paddy Power Announces Senior Management Changes

Paddy Power plc today 21^st December 2012 announces the following senior management changes:

·    Jimmy Mangan, Head of Irish Retail & Dial-a-Bet, has decided to retire, effective July 2013, having run Irish Retail since the formation of Paddy Power in 1988. 

·    Andy McCue, Head of UK Retail since 2006, has been appointed Head of Retail (UK & Ireland), effective January 2013. This is a newly created role which will help us to leverage the scale of our retail platforms in both geographies.

·    Charlie Kelly will be appointed Head of Irish Retail in July 2013. Charlie joined Paddy Power in 1999 as Group Financial Accountant and Company Secretary, before moving into his current role of Head of Retail Operations in Ireland in 2005.

·    Dan Thomson has been appointed Head of UK Retail. Dan joined Paddy Power as Head of Retail Gaming in 2008 and is currently Head of UK Retail Operations.

Paddy Power Chief Executive, Patrick Kennedy, said:

Charlie will leverage his broad experience in Retail to drive the business forward. I believe these appointments will further strengthen and support the Group's growth."
