Paddy Power Betfair plc (the "Company")

Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 23 July 2018 it had purchased a total of 2,423 of its ordinary shares of Eur0.09 each (the "ordinary shares") on the London Stock Exchange and the Irish Stock Exchange, trading as Euronext Dublin, through the Company's broker Goldman Sachs International as detailed below. The repurchased shares will be cancelled.

The purchases form part of the Company's share buyback programme announced on 29 May 2018.

Following settlement of the above purchases, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue shall be 83,085,799 ordinary shares, each carrying the right to one vote. The Company also holds 1,965,600 ordinary shares in treasury, which do not carry voting rights.
