AGM Statement and Update on Trading
Focusrite Plc (AIM: TUNE), the global music and audio products company supplying hardware and software products used by professional and amateur musicians around the world, will today hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 2.00 p.m. on Friday, 29 January 2016, at the offices of Stephenson Harwood LLP, 1 Finsbury Circus, London, EC2M 7SH.
Phil Dudderidge, Executive Chairman, will make the following statement:
"In December, at the time of our results announcement we updated the market that revenue in the first quarter of this current financial year was ahead of that for FY15, itself a record quarter, in spite of slower than expected initial sales of new products. Trading in December again showed progress when compared with the previous year.
We have just returned from the annual NAMM music show in Anaheim, California, one of the biggest trade shows in the world, where we yet again showcased our award-winning products. At home, our product development team continues to work hard, with three new products already launched this year on top of the 19 released last year and market reaction and industry reviews have been positive. We are excited about further important new product launches during the rest of this financial year."
