Share issuance to EBT
Focusrite plc (AIM: TUNE), the global music and audio products company supplying hardware and software used by professional and amateur musicians and the entertainment industry, gives the following update on a share issuance of New Ordinary Shares of 0.1 pence each directly to the Company's Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT").
The Company intends to issue 550,000 New Ordinary Shares at their par value to the EBT. The New Ordinary Shares are intended to be used by the EBT to satisfy options vesting in future years.
Accordingly, on 23 December 2020, the Company allotted the New Ordinary Shares to the EBT and such shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company. It is anticipated that the New Ordinary Shares will be admitted to trading on AIM on or around 31 December 2020 ("Admission").
Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 58,661,639 Ordinary Shares, of which 734,601 Ordinary Shares will be held by the EBT. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
