Focus signs contract with Zurich Advice Network
Focus Solutions Group plc ("Focus" or the "Group"), the specialist provider of
sales automation solutions for the financial services industry, announces today
that it has signed a Point of Sale (POS) contract with Zurich Advice Network.
Zurich Advice Network is part of the Zurich Group, which was founded in 1872.
Today, the group has over 35 million customers worldwide, six million of which
are in the UK.
Under the agreement, initially worth £250,000, Focus will deliver some
components of its Multi Channel Advice (MCA) solution to support Zurich's
Franchise Network. The solution is due to go live in November and will be rolled
out to all Zurich's 3,000 advisers in early 2003.
John Streets, Chief Executive of Focus Solutions, said:

solution, that is built using Focus' 21st century software, goal:technology,
solves many of the cost reduction and speed to benefit issues in today's
marketplace. Unlike MCA, which is built to change, traditional IT solutions take
a long time to develop, have a high cost of ownership and are unable to respond
quickly enough to the constant changes in products, services and legislation."
