The Directors today announce that the estimated Net Asset Value per ordinary share of US $0.01 each ("Ordinary Share") based on the estimated value of The Family Shari'ah Fund Limited provided by the Fund Administrator - Apex Fund Services (Ireland) Limited as at 31 May 2011 - including income was US $0.9277*.
The Net Asset Value position* as at 30 April 2011 and 31 May 2011 and the portfolio allocation as at 31 May 2011 is summarised below.

The portfolio was up 0.99% for the month of May despite a correction in the market. This strong performance came mainly from the private equity allocation of the portfolio as we have seen improvements in the underlying companies. Diversification between asset classes is a major driver of portfolio performance as this month's performance demonstrated.

- 17.4% in Cash and Cash Like Instruments
- 16.9% in Islamic Income
- 31.4% in Equities
- 3.4% in Alternatives
- 16.9% in Private Equity
- 14.0% in Real Estate
