The Company announces that it has today been notified that on 2 September 2003 B
Fairman, a director of the Company purchased 20,000 ordinary shares at a price
of 84p per share.



Following this purchase B Fairman is interested in 788,941 ordinary shares
representing 6.13 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.



In addition B Fairman is interested in 253,466 'C' Shares representing 0.77 per
cent. of the issued 'C' share capital of the Company.



In total B Fairman is interested in 1,042,407 shares representing 2.27 per cent.
of the total issued share capital of the Company.
