Holding in e-district.net plc

Further to the announcement released earlier today, the Board of Foresight
Technology VCT plc ('Foresight') has reviewed the effect on its net asset
value of the holding in e-district.net plc.

The Company announced total assets relating to the Foresight Ordinary Shares
as at 30 September 2000 of £27,484,259, equating to a net asset value of
210.7p per Foresight Ordinary Share. Included within the valuation was £
17,949,902 relating to the carrying value of 14,245,954 ordinary shares in
e-district.net plc, at a mid-market price of 126.0p per ordinary share. This
equated to a net asset value of 137.6p per Foresight Ordinary Share.

The mid-market price of the ordinary shares of e-district.net plc was 107.5 p
as at close of business on 16 February 2001, which equated to a net asset
value per Foresight Ordinary Share of 113.1p in respect of this holding. The
shares of e-district.net plc were suspended from dealings prior to the
commencement of trading today at the request of the board of the company.

The Board of Foresight will keep shareholders advised as to developments.

The Foresight Ordinary Share fund has to date paid 103.9p per Foresight
Ordinary Share by way of tax free dividend.
